AB This  chapter  describes  pathology  that  may  lead  to  anterior  thorax  pain.  Local  causes  are  defined  as  pathology  occurring  within  the  chest  wall  structures.  Remote  causes  are  defined  as  pathology  occurring  outside  this  region,  most  notably  deep  to  the  parietal  pleura.
